Oh my god so Sousuke is the immortal one, and Makoto is his fatedone. He has loved every single reincarnation of the gentle brunette,
though sometimes, he wouldn’t love him back.

But there has to be a drop of magical blood in his veins as well,
doesn’t it, when he comes back to Sousuke every time anew? When
they look into each other’s eyes and he feels like falling in love
with him all over again, when all of his emotions haven’t changed,
not even in the hundreds of years he’s been living?

Of course it can be hard when one form of Makoto won’t share
these feels with him. But he would always stick close and make sure
he would take a safe path. And it had only happened three times so
far. He knows it can’t be helped.

Still the immortal can’t stop hoping that one day, his beloved
Makoto would recognize him and embrace him like the first time they
did. Sousuke remembers this moment more vivid than any other memory,
just as their first kiss, their first touch, their first time.

Their history reaches back farther than the photos in his books
can hold, and the only reason why he hasn’t ended his miserable
life yet is for his love. If it wasn’t for Makoto to return to him,
whilst every single time he leaves hurts and crushes his heart, he
couldn’t handle his being. To never die, to suffer for as long as
humanity might last.

Sousuke thought that maybe there are ways to make Makoto immortal,
too. Although he is, in a certain way. However, does he really wish
for him to live like this? Isn’t it a selfish dream? But he is
selfish already, claiming every single reincarnation of Makoto as
his.

The conflict inside of him slowly tears him apart. Even as he sits
in the living room with a young Makoto, only tender 21 years old. The
immortal made him fall for him in the sweetest way, and strangely,
this one built a stronger bond, a deeper connection to him.

Almost like his very first fragile relationship with him…
